Conservation Outcomes has provided technical support to Peace Parks Foundation, commencing with the development of an elephant management strategy for Maputo National Park in Mozambique. Subsequently, it has assisted in undertaking a protected area management effectiveness assessment for the Greater Mana Pools Ecosystem in Zimbabwe and is assisting in developing an animal offtakes plan for Maputo National Park. It is anticipated that further technical support will be provided related to protected area management effectiveness for, protected area management plan implementation and opportunities linked to the wildlife economy for various protected areas in the SADC region.
