Carbon credit development

KwaZulu-Natal Sustainable Landscape Program (KZNSLP) – The KZNSLP is a high-quality, large landscape nature-based carbon removal partnership that aims to improve livelihoods, community rights, biodiversity restoration and connectivity, supports government mandates and builds sustainable rural economies at scale. The Program is being led by Sayari Earth with Conservation Outcomes as one of the implementing partners. The KZNSLP is focused on the northern region of KwaZulu-Natal and is aligned to South Africa’s National Strategies and policies.

WeAct – Conservation Outcomes is exploring mechanisms to generate additional funding for landowners to invest in protected area management. We are working with a cardon developer (WeAct) to explore the development of carbon credits from well-managed protected areas in KZN, to assist landowners in funding protected area management.
